The first major event in our brand new Dojang, took place from Friday the 19th to Sunday the 21st of April 2024 - and was, if we must say, a very succesfull follow up to last year's Nordic Poomsae Weekend 🤩
Some were with us for the entire weekend, others joined us later or had to leave earlier - but all in all, 80 athletes from Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark set foot on our new Taekwondo mats during the weekend 🥋
In addition to more than 10 hours of poomsae training, the weekend offered a trip to the bowling alley and a nice Korean dinner on Saturday evening - and of course lots of fun and good conversations with other taekwondo enthusiasts 🥋🇩🇰 🇮🇸 🇳🇴 🇸🇪🥋
Thank you to the amazing coaches Michael Brännback, Finn Buchardt and Allan Olsen, who orchestrated the classes with bravour, well assisted by Magnus Tue Lund 🙏
And also a big thank you for the huge support from our athletes parents, who were responsible for everything that happened outside the Dojang - planning, catering, cleaning ... we definitely couldn't have done it without you 🥰
The final thank you goes to all of you who wanted to come and train with us - a weekend like this clearly shows that it doesn't matter where you come from - the passion for Taekwondo gives us a solid common ground <3
